Doc Martin

Lately I've been watching a show on Hulu called Doc Martin about a certain big city surgeon (Doctor Martin) who decides for one reason or another to go become a general practitioner in a small village - which incidentally happens to be the village he grew up in. Of course big town anything in small town is a recipe for humor no matter what - which is probably one of the biggest selling points of the show (to me anyway).


To say that the good doctor is like a fly in milk in his new environment is the understatement of the year. He is a likeable character, but a bit socially inept. Hulu only has the first season up as of this writing but I am hopeful that more seasons make it to hulu soon. While we're at it, let's keep our fingers crossed to get some BBC content on the US version of Hulu :-)
